Neil Nyberg has been Kellogg Company’s vice president and chief ethics and compliance officer in the company’s legal and compliance department since 2002.
Mr. Nyberg joined the company in 1979 as a staff attorney. He was promoted to senior attorney in 1983 and to corporate counsel in 1985. In 1987, he became the company’s director of corporate communications.
He relocated to Manchester, England, in 1995 where he served as director, corporate affairs – Europe. In 1998, he was promoted to vice president of global communications and returned to the company’s headquarters in Battle Creek, Michigan. He became the company’s chief ethics officer and was named vice president, corporate affairs in 2001.
Mr. Nyberg received his bachelor’s degree with high honors from Trinity College in Deerfield, Illinois, and a juris doctorate from Southern Illinois University School of Law. Following graduation, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Richard Mills of the Illinois Appellate Court.
