Professor Gardener is highly-respected for his research and theories behind how the mind works and processes decisions. This year brought new work from Gardener, including “Responsibility at Work” and “Five Minds for the Future.” He introduces the paradigm of “The Ethical Mind” which broadens the respect for others into something more abstract through asking, “What kind of a person, worker, and citizen do I want to be?”
